We are Co-Owners and Sisters! We took over ownership on March 1st 2026, and we are so excited too learn and grow The Naturalists Atelier!
Hi there, my name is
Lilyanna
Lilyanna has always had an eye for beautiful things, when she was young she used to collect little trinkets, and still now collects beautiful teapots. Playing with and caring for kids is one of her favorite things, and she’s always been gifted at connecting with children. Lily also loves being outside, spending time skiing, hiking and exploring! Baking is another one of Lily’s talents, she enjoys perfecting her cookie recipe, making pies and learning how to make new kinds of pastries.
Becoming the Co-Owner of The Naturalists Atelier has been a dream come true for Lily! She loves picking out the inventory, managing the store and being in the shop to meet all the people that come in! Being surrounded by and responsible for the beautiful things of The Naturalists Atelier is such a joy for Lily, and she is so excited to grow the business and get to know the community better.
Howdy my name is
Elaina
Elaina brings passion to every area of her life, whether it be creativity in photography, organization, solving problems or her relationships with people! She works for a millworks company doing custom cabinetry, woodworking and learning the craftsmanship of the trades. Another one of Elaina’s passions is the outdoors, she grew up running around barefoot in the rural mountains with her siblings. Some of her favorite outdoor activities include rock climbing, whitewater rafting, hiking and climbing trees!
Since taking on Co-Ownership of The Naturalists Atelier, Elaina has enjoyed building relationships with the community, coming up with new class ideas, and solving whatever problems come up. Elaina primarily handles the background side of the business, making sure ends meet, emails are responded to and everything stays organized!
Our story as sisters
Who do you think is older? Well Lily is taller, but Elaina is older! We are only 15 months apart despite the small age gap, it'd be hard to find two people that are more different. We joke that whatever one of us likes, the other doesn't. Elaina is a morning person, Lily is a night owl. Lily tends to be more quiet, and Elaina is big and loud most of the time. As we've gotten older we have become closer friends, and have found a lot of things we have in common! The difference between our personalities actually makes for a great business partnership! Lily loves to manage the shop and pick out the inventory, she often has the better feel for what people would like, and has a greater eye for the vision of the shop. Elaina on the other hand keeps everything organized, makes sure ends meet and emails are replied too.
When we aren't working you can find us
Skiing
Skiing is one of our favorite hobbies! We love the mountains, the snow and going fast!
With our Family
We are the oldest two of eight siblings, and we love all of them, though we spend the most time with our brothers! This was us getting some coffee after a hike in Zion, Utah!
Hiking
This was in Yosemite! Hiking is one of our favorite ways to spend time outside! Exploring, adventuring and being active, what else could you ask for!
Taking pictures
Elaina's main creative outlet is photography! She loves to teach and practice photography, especially doing photoshoots around sunset!
playing with kids
Growing up in a big family we love kids! Few things make us happier than to run around being silly with our little siblings or cousins! We both hope to be mom's and have children of our own someday!
Baking
Lily loves baking! When she's baking everyone eagerly waits around the kitchen for the goodies to come out of the oven! Her urge to bake typically comes on in the late evening, sometimes she'll be pulling cookies out at 11pm!
