Watercolor Class with Resident Instructor Becky Duncan - Saturday, October 25th 1:30-3:30pm

Class Descriptions: This in-person 2-hour course is perfect for beginners who want to learn the basics of watercolor painting, but is also beneficial to those with some art background. As a science illustrator, I'll go over the basics of outlining and sketching the form of the subject (in this case, a whimsical pumpkin!), recognizing light and shadow areas, using color theory, and how to perform basic watercolor techniques and washes. We will be painting from life, meaning we will use real pumpkins to reference! You will leave with your own original 9x12" watercolor painting.

Recommended for ages: 8+ with registered adult

Finished pieces will be held for 90 days, after this time any unclaimed pieces may be disposed of.
